The court revised its local rules on January 23, 2018, to create the Mental Health Docket, which appears as Rule 213. The Delaware Municipal Court recognizes the proven success of specialized dockets in reducing offender risk and addressing the underlying factors contributing to criminal behavior. As a result, the Mental Health Docket was established to provide eligible participants with treatment, supervision, and support services designed to improve mental health, increase accountability, and reduce future involvement with the criminal justice system.
