The City of Delaware Economic Development Department has launched a new video storytelling initiative, “Found in Delaware,” aimed at highlighting the innovation, passion, and people behind local businesses.
The campaign debuts this week with a feature on Homestretch Apparel, a locally owned clothing brand that embodies community and creative entrepreneurship. Through engaging video profiles, Found in Delaware will shine a spotlight on homegrown companies and the individuals who are helping drive Delaware’s economy forward.
“This campaign is about more than economic development,” said Economic Development Director Nic Langford. “It’s about celebrating the stories of the people and ideas that make Delaware unique, and inspiring others to plant roots and grow here.”
Found in Delaware was created as part of the department’s ongoing efforts to promote business retention, support small business growth, and build community pride. Each installment will feature a different Delaware-based business and will be shared across digital platforms, including the City’s website, YouTube channel, and social media.
The first video is now available here.
