DELAWARE – The deadline for filing a 2011 City of Delaware income tax return is Tuesday, April 17.  The Delaware City Income Tax Department office will stay open until 7 p.m. on April 17. The tax office will also be open additional hours on Saturday, April 14, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

City residents are reminded that filing is required even if no tax is due. If filing assistance is needed, taxpayers should bring the W-2s and federal schedules necessary to complete their forms.

The city tax office is located in City Hall, 1 South Sandusky Street.  Please enter through the building’s south entrance.  Ordinary business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
