Delaware Citizens Academy
Enrollment is under way for the third Delaware Citizens Academy. DCA is a program in which Delaware residents will receive nearly 20 hours of instruction and learn about city operations and departments. The Academy consists of nine sessions, running from February through May. The two-hour classes meet on Thursdays (and one Saturday), about twice a month. There is no charge to attend. Class size is limited to 20 and fills quickly. Prior knowledge of city government is not required. Applications are available here and at City Hall, on the first floor or second floor. The application deadline is 5 p.m., Friday, February 3.
