Fire Department

The City of Delaware Fire Department operates two fire stations.  The main station, at 99 South Liberty Street, was built in 1972 and houses the administrative offices.  Station 302, at 683 Pittsburgh Drive, was built in 1997. Prior to 1972, the department was located at City Hall and other various locations within the municipality.  The City of Delaware Fire Department provides both advanced life support and fire protection.  The department utilizes two ambulances and an engine crew as first responders for emergency medical services for its customers.
